About NationFolio
NationFolio is an interactive 3D globe for exploring official statistics about the world's countries and territories. Pick one of about 140 indicators, such as GDP per capita, inflation, government debt, life expectancy, renewable energy or internet use, and the globe colours each country by its latest value. Click a country for a short brief, then open its full dossier: every published indicator with its source and year, trade partners, IMF projections and the results of the automated data checks. The rankings list every country with a published value for any indicator, and can be exported as CSV.
Every number in NationFolio comes from an official publisher: the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the OECD, Eurostat, the Bank for International Settlements and UN Comtrade. Each value is shown with its source, its reference year and its status (reported, estimate or IMF projection), and the dossier links back to the publisher's dataset so you can check any figure. Where two publishers report the same measure, both are shown, and material differences are marked.
Who it is for
NationFolio is built for students, journalists, researchers, analysts, investors, teachers and anyone curious about how countries compare. It replaces downloading and merging spreadsheets from several agencies with one visual terminal that runs in the browser and needs no account.
